Boothstown to Manchester Airport

Boothstown lies between the Salford and Wigan boroughs about 15.8 km (9.8 mi) northwest of Manchester. The city of Wigan is 16.1 km from this location, and it is only about 25 minutes from the Manchester Airport.

To the west of Boothstown, Astley is located, and Walkden is situated to the north. Worsley is located to the east. One of the main interchanges of this location is between M60, M62, and M602.

East Lancashire Road is located north of Boothstown. This road connects Manchester with Liverpool.

One very important finding happened in 1947. A group of at least 550 bronze roman coins from 259 AD and 278 AD were found here by workers digging in this town.
