Heaton Moor is located in the metropolitan borough of Stockport. It includes Heaton Moor and Heaton Mersey, and is about 14 minutes from the Manchester Airport.
Other areas besides Heaton Mersey that border Heaton Moor are Heaton Norris and Heaton Chapel. This area is most characterized by the distinctive, Victorian-style houses.
