Gathurst to Manchester Airport

Gathurst is a semi-rural area that is home to a local rail line. Gathurst Railway Station is located on the outskirts of the town of Wigan. This particular line is about 5 km from the Wigan Wallgate Station.

This area also serves Shevington, a village located nearby. Service currently runs once an hour from Gathurst to Southport going west, and eastbuound to Manchester Victoria on to Rochdale. It also makes stops at the Manchester Piccadilly.
